A Family Table Since 1962

Trattoria da Marco was born in a small courtyard kitchen on Via Indipendenza, when Nonna Giulia first hung a handwritten menu on the door. Her son Roberto refined the recipes; today Marco and his sister Elena carry the tradition into its third generation — still rolling pasta by hand every morning before the lunch service, still using the same slow-cooked ragù that takes six hours and no shortcuts.

We cook Emilia-Romagna cuisine the way it was meant to be eaten: unhurried, generous, and shared. Every dish on our menu was tested at a family table before it reached yours.

Our Menu

Tagliatelle al Ragù — €14

Hand-rolled egg pasta, 6-hour slow-cooked Bolognese meat sauce made with local beef and pork, a splash of white wine, and a whisper of nutmeg. Just like Nonna made it — no cream, never.

Tortellini in Brodo — €12

Tiny hand-folded tortellini stuffed with prosciutto, mortadella, and Parmigiano Reggiano, served in a clear, golden capon broth simmered for eight hours. Bologna's most beloved winter comfort.

Lasagne Verdi al Forno — €13

Layers of spinach-tinted sfoglia, our signature ragù, béchamel, and 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano — baked until the edges curl and the top catches colour. A Sunday classic, every day of the week.

Crescentine Fritte — €7

Light, pillowy deep-fried dough puffs — the Bolognese answer to bread — served warm with a board of local salumi: mortadella, culatello, and aged squacquerone.

Gramigna con Salsiccia — €13

Curly semolina pasta that catches every drop of the sauce — crumbled Emilian sausage, white wine, a little cream, and fresh thyme. Rustic, rich, impossibly satisfying.

Torta di Riso — €6

A slice of Bologna's traditional rice cake: slow-baked with whole milk, eggs, and lemon zest. Dense, fragrant, and humble in the best possible way. The dessert that ends every proper Sunday lunch.

Dinner: 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Closed Mondays.
